If you're reading this, chances are you know us already but just in case you don't here's a quick note on who we are and what we're into. 

 

We were both IT professionals up until 2008 when we jumped head first into the coffee shop business!  We own a café in Victoria on Vancouver Island.  We got married in 1993 at Lake Tahoe (actually ON Lake Tahoe, on a sailboat called Woodwind).  We lived in Edmonton / surrounding area up until 2008 when we moved to Victoria.

 

We both enjoy being active, Cathy's a spin, step and strength class regular at the gym, and Tony takes Tae Kwon Do, and joins Cathy for the odd spin class at the gym.  We're also into biking, rollerblading and long walks, and we've just started to get into running. 

 

In 2002, we discovered Zephyr Adventures, a unique adventure tour company that specializes in rollerblading tours in some very nice places; discovering Zephyr is what got us going on the active living thing.  We try to do a Zephyr tour whenever we can (Check out Our Trips for some slideshows on our trips)
